Neighborhood Services provides direct services, technical assistance and interaction with individuals, neighborhood and civic organizations, and other related neighborhood groups. This division was created as a result of the Columbus Covenant goal to engage and promote strong distinct and vibrant neighborhoods. These services address neighborhoods and their needs, and improve the quality of life in Columbus’ neighborhoods by ensuring that these services are being provided responsibly and efficiently. 

Three neighborhood related programs have been implemented through Neighborhood Services to address these needs. They are the Neighborhood Liaison Program, Neighborhood Pride Program, and the Neighborhood Pride Centers.
