In late 2000 the North Central community, as represented by a Planning Committee, began to form a Plan for the neighborhood.  The boundaries of North Central are as follows: Hudson Street and Mock Road to the north, Alum Creek to the east, Conrail tracks/I-670 to the south, and Conrail tracks/17th Avenue/Joyce Avenue to the west.
