Project Update and City Adoption
The final version of the Big Darby Accord Watershed Master Plan has been prepared by the project consultant team and delivered to the partner communities. The plan can be viewed on the project website at the location listed below. If you would like to review a hard copy in the Planning Division office, please contact Linda Poulton at 645-8036. We also have a limited number of compact disks of the plan available.
This effort is the culmination of substantial cooperation among the 10 jurisdictions sharing territory in the Franklin County portion of the Big Darby Watershed. A memorandum of understanding is also being developed to guide ongoing cooperation and aid in the plan’s implementation. The Columbus Development Commission recommended that City Council adopt the Accord at a Policy meeting on Thursday, July 20. Columbus City Council adopted the Accord on Monday, July 31, 2006.
