The Greater Hilltop Plan offers recommendations on issues pertaining to land use, traffic and circulation, housing, economic development, community service and facilities, and parks and recreation.
The purpose of the Greater Hilltop Plan is to establish a series of guidelines that manage the future growth and development of the Greater Hilltop area. The plan will be used as a principal reference document by developers, the Greater Hilltop Area Commission, citystaff, the Development Commission, and City Council when making decisions concerning the planning area. The draft Plan was approved by the Columbus Development Commission on Thursday, August 23, 2001 and adopted by by Columbus City Council in September of 2001.
