Description

You are invited to take part in the development of the Southwest Area Plan. The planning process was initiated at the request of the Southwest Area Commission and will take one year to complete. Staff from the City of Columbus and Franklin County are working jointly to head up this planning effort.

You can participate by attending the Public Workshops or by reviewing the material and filling out the surveys on this website (surveys are located under Documents).

The 3rd public workshop for the Southwest Area Plan was held on September 30th at Franklin Woods Intermediate School. Participants reviewed and gave feedback on the plan's draft land use plan, draft transportation plan and draft recommendations. If you were unable to make the meeting, a full version of the recommendations can be found below in a survey format.
